iTALKs Launch Event – Public Speaking Workshop

Writing workshop / theater / public speaking contest, to help you succeed in public speaking.

The University of Montpellier is pleased to announce the start of Season 10 of iTALKs!

Are you unsure about your ability to speak in public? iTALKs can help! Whether you’re a beginner or already have some experience, develop your public speaking skills, learn to manage stage fright, find your own style, and win that public speaking contest!

The goal of iTALKs: to master public speaking and enjoy it.
How? Through writing and theater workshops, you’ll create and perform a 5-minute piece on a topic of your choice.

iTALKs are open to all students at the University of Montpellier.

On the program: Anne-Sophie Leyre, actress and instructor with the Cie de l’Astrolabe; Sarah Fourage, author and playwright; and the team from the Richter Student Union will present the iTALKs.

You’ll also benefit from the experience of the winning students from the 2024–2025 season, who will present their own pitches.
This is your chance to ask any questions you may have before signing up, if you’d like.
And why not take the stage on March 31, 2026, during the public speaking competition?
