"On Wednesday, January 28, 2015, I happened to pass a flea market. My gaze landed on a painted canvas. It's The Origin of the World. It's a rather shoddy copy, lying on the pavement between a bicycle wheel and a set of small silver spoons. I say to myself that, for a few euros, I'd like it to join my collection of various and sundry objects patiently awaiting their time to feature in a future show".
