Five million French people often struggle to juggle their role as caregivers with their professional lives. Many caregivers are still unaware of their role, and many have little or no knowledge of the support available to them. However, there are measures in place that they can rely on.

During this round table discussion, social service assistants from the UM and CNRS, accompanied by experts in their field, will present the tools and resources available to both caregivers and those receiving care. They will specifically address the situation of caregivers for dependent elderly people.

Speakers:

  • Marina Martinez-Canadas, staff social services assistant at the University of Montpellier;
  • Florian Bedjaoui, staff social services assistant at the University of Montpellier;
  • Estelle Jacquot, staff social services assistant at the CNRS;
  • Frédéric Pizzo, occupational psychologist at the University of Montpellier;
  • Camille Benzine, head of the Paerpa executive department and the Territorial Support Coordination 34 system;
  • Amélie Unal, independent legal representative for the protection of adults.

This event is part of "Workplace Well-Being Week."
