Documentation tutoring 2022-2023: university libraries are recruiting

The University of Montpellier is recruiting documentation tutors from M1 or 4th year Health students for the Richter, Health, and Science libraries for the period September 2022-May 2023.

Being a tutor in a university library means:

• welcoming and supporting undergraduate students to help them become more familiar with the university libraries and their services, as well as assisting them with their research;
• participate in the design and facilitation of training sessions (face-to-face workshops, tutorials, distance learning) on documentary resources, in connection with disciplinary teaching;
• develop expertise in the digital tools provided by the university libraries and help promote them to students.

Above all, it means enjoying sharing your experience and skills, developing your interpersonal skills and teaching abilities.

The documentation tutoring program leads to an institutional diploma in "Training for qualified tutors" (after a period of internship) and then to a paid contract.
