Through humorous posters and reimagined advertising slogans, Ali Guessoum (the exhibition’s curator) offers his offbeat take on the most common stereotypes about racism in France.
What is the goal of this exhibition? To deconstruct racist clichés and discrimination of all kinds, in order to highlight diverse identities and the contribution of immigration to our history.
The video-guided tours invite visitors to engage in dialogue about the historical narrative conveyed by these posters.
Open only to UM students and staff.
