International workshop on reducing pesticide use in tropical agriculture. What are the key impacts and challenges? What initiatives and strategies can be used to reduce pesticide use in agriculture in the Global South? What roadmap should be defined in research to meet this challenge?
The aim of this workshop is to bring together and organize Montpellier's scientific community around the issue of pesticide reduction, making it a key player in international research on the subject and developing short-term technological, social, and political solutions.
This event, organized by Agropolis Fondation in association with CIRAD, is open to the entire scientific community in Montpellier. It will be held in person for Montpellier residents and remotely for scientists abroad.
The workshop is in French with English translation on site and via Zoom.
