Meeting the future teachers of UM

As part of the Ministry of National Education and Youth's teacher recruitment campaign, a coffee debate on teaching professions was held on November 7 at the Faculty of Education in Montpellier. It brought together nearly 30 students from the Master's and Bachelor's programs in Teaching, Education and Training (MEEF), as well as from the Department of Physical and Sports Sciences and Techniques (STAPS) and the Faculty of Sciences.

Sophie Béjean, Rector of the Montpellier Academy, Isabelle Chazal, Secretary General of the Montpellier Academy, Philippe Augé, President of the University of Montpellier, and Agnès Perrin-Doucey, Director of the Faculty of Education, were able to answer their questions about the competitive examination, remuneration, duties, career prospects, and everyday life as a teacher.

Registration for teacher recruitment exams (CRPE, Agrégation, Capes, Capeps, Capet, and CAPLP) has been extended until Thursday, December 7, 2023.
