Meet the future teachers of the UM

As part of the registration campaign for the Ministry of National Education and Youth's competitive examinations for the recruitment of teachers, a café-debate on teaching professions was held on 7 November at the Faculty of Education of Montpellier. It brought together nearly 30 students from the Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Teaching, Education and Training (MEEF), as well as from the Faculty of Science and Technology of Physical and Sports Activities (STAPS) and the Faculty of Science.

Sophie Béjean, Rector of the Montpellier Academy, Isabelle Chazal, Secretary General of the Montpellier Academy, Philippe Augé, President of the University of Montpellier, and Agnès Perrin-Doucey, Director of the Faculty of Education, were able to answer their questions about the competition, remuneration, missions, career and the daily life of the teaching profession.

Registrations for the teacher recruitment competitions (CRPE, Agrégation, Capes, Capeps, Capet and CAPLP) have been extended until Thursday, December 7, 2023.
