Meeting future UM teachers
As part of the registration campaign for the Ministry of National Education and Youth's teacher recruitment examinations, a café-débat on the teaching profession was held on November 7 at Montpellier's Faculty of Education. Nearly 30 students from the MEEF (Métiers de l'enseignement, de l'éducation et de la formation) master's and bachelor's programs, as well as from the UFR sciences et techniques des activités physiques et sportives (STAPS) and the Faculté des sciences, attended.
Sophie Béjean, Rector of the Montpellier education authority, Isabelle Chazal, General Secretary of the Montpellier education authority, Philippe Augé, President of the University of Montpellier, and Agnès Perrin-Doucey, Director of the Faculty of Education, answered their questions about the competitive examination, remuneration, missions, careers and day-to-day aspects of the teaching profession.
Registration for teacher recruitment competitions (CRPE, Agrégation, Capes, Capeps, Capet and CAPLP) has been extended to Thursday December 7, 2023.
