Watch the Pôle MIPS lectures on YouTube

The MIPS Research Center regularly updates the video playlist of its scientific lectures on the University of Montpellier’s YouTube channel.

Produced with the support of Coscience, these videos allow all University staff, students, and partners to revisit the highlights of the conferences and scientific events organized by the MIPS Center.

The playlist features presentations on mathematics, computer science, physics, and systems, covering a wide range of topics from dynamic systems to climate, including artificial intelligence, data science, and complex phenomena.

Some of the lectures recently posted online include:
  • “ClimaMeter: Putting Extreme Weather Events into a Climate Context” by Davide Faranda, recorded during MIPS Week 2025;
  • “Infinite Entropy and Dynamical Systems” by Barbara Schapira, as part of the MIPS Center’s Monthly Lectures.
  • “Physics, Chemistry, and Mechanics of Asphalt” by Virginie Mouillet, a lecture focusing on the physical and chemical properties of asphalt, its aging mechanisms, and the scientific challenges related to road materials and their durability.

The purpose of these recordings is to highlight the research conducted within the MIPS community, promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge, and allow everyone to watch or discover the lectures at their own pace.

Find the playlist on the University of Montpellier’s YouTube channel.
