Algerian Excellence Scholarships 2020
As part of the "Bourses algériennes d'excellence 2020" program, the University of Montpellier is one of the universities chosen by the Algerian Ministry's steering committee to host, in October 2020, some of the 20 doctoral students awarded scholarships by the Algerian government as part of the national competition for excellence, which pits Algerian university valedictorians against each other in fields that meet the training needs of future teacher-researchers.
A call for proposals for thesis topics is therefore launched to all laboratories of the University of Montpellier (or associated with the University of Montpellier) likely to propose thesis topics in the following areas:
- Materials physics - 3 winners available
- Materials chemistry - 3 winners available
- IT - 3 winners available
- Biotechnology - 3 winners available
- Food science - 3 winners available
- Mathematics - 5 winners available
We invite the heads of the Doctoral Schools and Laboratory Directors at the University of Montpellier to widely circulate this call for thesis proposals to researchers working in these fields who would be willing to supervise Algerian doctoral students on scholarship.
Deadline for submission of thesis topics: May 6, 2020.
