# La Science s'aMuse: From collaborative innovation to Euromov's flying carpet

Welcome to the program co-produced by the University of Montpellier and Divergence-FM, which takes you on a cruise through the laboratories of the Muse archipelago. This week we talk collaborative innovation with Anne-Sophie Fernandez and Frédéric Leroy from the Coo-innov Chair. In the second half of the program, we take you to Euromov, where Stéphane Perrey introduces us to his flying carpet. Finally, La chronique d'Amrin talks about perfume. Enjoy the show!

Whether technical, medical, cultural or digital, innovation is today the main tool for adding value to research. In 2018, over 1,000 patent applications were registered in the Occitanie region alone. But are these innovations, proposed by research establishments such as CNRS or the University of Montpellier, but also by companies or start-ups, the fruit of collaborative work or the challenge of cut-throat competition? The Coo-innov Chair was created in Montpellier in 2020 to examine these practices and gain a better understanding of the innovation ecosystem. It is headed by Anne-Sophie Fernandez and Frédéric Leroy, both researchers at Montpellier Research in Management. They present their first report on collaborative innovation in Montpellier.

In the second half of the program, the report En salle des machines takes you to Euromov. Located on theUFR Staps campus, this laboratory studies the identification of the motor signatures of health, in other words, how physiological, neuromuscular, sensorimotor markers, etc. constitute a veritable behavioral map. On the I-Mose simulation platform, Stéphane Perrey, teacher-researcher and director of Euromov, introduces us to the flying carpet.

Finally, perfume is in the air with La Chronique d'Amrin, about the subtle collaboration between Montpellier perfumer ArthurDupuy and teacher-researcher Isabelle Parrot...

La science s'aMuse, you've got the map, let's get on board!
