# Science Fun: From collaborative innovation to Euromov's flying carpet

Welcome to the program co-produced by the University of Montpellier andDivergence-FM, which takes you on a cruise through the laboratories of the Muse archipelago. This week we talk about collaborative innovation with Anne-Sophie Fernandez and Frédéric Leroy from the Coo-innov chair. In the second part of the program, we take you toEuromov, where Stéphane Perrey shows us hisflying carpet. Finally,Amrin's columnwill talk about perfume. Enjoy!

Whether technical, medical, cultural, or digital, innovation is now the main tool for promoting research. In 2018, more than 1,000 patent applications were filed in the Occitanie region alone. But are these innovations, proposed by research institutions such as the CNRS or the University of Montpellier, as well as by companies and start-ups, the result of collaborative work or fierce competition? To examine these practices and gain a better understanding of the innovation ecosystem, theCoo-innov chairwas created in Montpellier in 2020. It is headed by Anne-Sophie Fernandez and Frédéric Leroy, both researchers atMontpellier Research in Management. They present their first report on collaborative innovation in Montpellier.

In the second part of the program, the report En salle des machines (In the Engine Room) takes you to Euromov. Located on the campus ofthe UFR Staps, this laboratory studies the identification of motor signatures of health, in other words, how physiological, neuromuscular, sensorimotor, and other markers constitute a true behavioral map. On the I-Mose simulation platform, Stéphane Perrey, Professor Director of Euromov, introduces us to theflying carpet.

Finally, there is perfume in the air with La Chronique d'Amrin, which tells us about the subtle collaboration between Montpellier-based perfumer ArthurDupuy and teacher-researcher Isabelle Parrot...

Science is fun, you've got the ticket, let's go!
