The Tronc-Chanal Foundation: supporting talent for the future

Under the umbrella of the Fondation de France, the Fondation Tronc-Chanal aims to support students studying French literature and language, as well as medicine. It offers one-off financial assistance to students who are well advanced in their studies, in order to encourage them in their pursuit of excellence.

Each year, the Foundation awards:

  • a prize of €2,000 to a recently graduated Doctor of Letters;
  • two scholarships of €1,000 each to medical interns at the Faculty of Montpellier-Nîmes.

These scholarships are intended for interns who have been admitted to the internship program and wish to pursue their specialization at another university.

The winners of the Tronc-Chanal Foundation

For several years, the Foundation has been rewarding interns at the Montpellier-Nîmes Faculty of Medicine for the quality of their professional projects. The executive committee is composed of specialists from both disciplines, half of whom are from literature and half from medicine.
