From November 14 to 18, 2022, the University of Montpellier is organizing its 3rd University Business Forum.
The University of Montpellier is organizing the third edition of its University Business Forum, an annual event dedicated to professional integration, which will take place from November 14 to 18, 2022. The aim is to support students and recent graduates in their search for internships or jobs. More than 150 companies, 300 recruiters, and 1,500 students will participate in the third edition of the event.
The forum in a nutshell
The Forum is open to all students at the University of Montpellier, from undergraduate to doctoral level, as well as recent graduates from the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Pharmacy, IAE, IPAG, Montpellier Management, and Polytech Montpellier. As a privileged exchange point between companies, students, and recruitment professionals, the University Business Forum aims to support students and recent graduates in their professional integration, a priority mission for the University of Montpellier.
The Business-University Forum is an event organized each year by the Office for Professional Integration of the SCUIO-IP at the University of Montpellier in collaboration with the Faculty of Sciences, Polytech, IAE, the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Economics, Montpellier Management, IPAG, and the UNESCO ICIREWARD Center.
Talented individuals with diverse profiles meet a pool of companies and recruitment professionals
Coming from fields such as science and technology, computer science, marketing, economics and finance, health, and the environment, the 1,500 students registered will be able to meet with more than 300 recruiters from 150 companies participating in the event, offering internships and job opportunities. Students will be able to meet with companies during two days of events organized on the Richter Campus on November 15 and the Triolet Campus on November 17. Advice booths will also be available to students during these two in-person events. In addition, they will be able to apply for positions via a dedicated platform, signing up for slots offered by companies for video conference interviews.
Specialist employment partners will come together to discuss the issue during a round table discussion and webinars, including: ANDRH, Accueil International, APEC, Pépite-LR, Pôle Emploi, l’Observatoire de l’insertion professionnelle, and others.
A packed schedule
Registration for this event is mandatory for both students and companies (more information at forum-entreprises-universite.edu.umontpellier.fr).
This year, two round tables will punctuate the event: "Succeeding in your job interview" with the participation of human resources directors, specialists in the field (APEC, Pôle Emploi, ANDRH) and graduates of the University of Montpellier, as well as a round table dedicated to disability "When and how to address your disability when applying for a job? " with CAP Emploi and Agefiph. Twenty-three thematic webinars and testimonials from young graduates of the University will also be offered to students seeking advice.
