François Pierrot, elected Vice President International Relations

On the proposal of President Philippe Augé, François Pierrot was elected Vice President in charge of international relations at the University of Montpellier by the UM Board of Directors on Monday March 13, 2023. He succeeds Patrick Caron, who has been appointed to another position at the CGIAR.

François Pierrot is Director of Research CNRS at the Montpellier Laboratory of Computer Science, Robotics and Microelectronics (UM/CNRS). Vice-president in charge of innovation and partnerships from 2015 to 2022 and Executive Director of the MUSE I-SITE from 2017 to 2022, François Pierrot is currently Deputy Director of the UM's Strategic and Structuring Investments Committee.
