BiodivOc and AdNaturaare teaming up to offer two days at the interface between research and biodiversity management: a symposium and a trade and training fair for the professional ecology and biodiversity sector. Over the course of the two days, students and industry professionals will take it in turns to offer a wide range of presentations and events. Scientific reflection and transdisciplinary exchanges at the BiodivOc symposium

The BiodivOc symposium offers two intense days of scientific reflection and transdisciplinary exchange open to the public. The aim of the event is to address the issues faced by those working to protect biodiversity. Participants, whether experts, researchers, students or committed citizens, will have the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience, fostering a constructive and enriching dialogue.

The aim is to provide an overview of the challenges facing biodiversity, and to exchange ideas on strategies and common approaches to tackling the current ecological crisis. The symposium is intended as a forum for dialogue and collaboration, where ideas can be freely exchanged. By bringing together diverse and complementary perspectives, the BiodivOc symposium aims to foster a constructive dynamic and encourage collective action for a more sustainable future that respects biodiversity.

At the crossroads of careers and training in the ecology and biodiversity sector

AdNatura is organizing a series of round-table discussions on careers related to the major challenges of ecological transition and biodiversity loss. They will cover a wide range of topics, including new emerging careers in the ecology sector, the technical and cross-disciplinary skills required, and future training courses to prepare future professionals to meet environmental challenges.

At the same time, Master 2 students in Environmental and Biodiversity Management at the University of Montpellier's Faculty of Science, members of the "salon de l'écologie" association, will be running awareness-raising sessions on eco-responsibility. They will also be offering interactive activities and meeting times throughout the year, aimed at promoting good environmental practices and encouraging an active commitment to protecting biodiversity.

By bringing together players from a wide range of backgrounds, this crossroads of trades and training aims to create synergies and promote a better understanding of opportunities in the sector, as well as better integration of aspiring professionals.
