JPO: an inspiring dive into higher education

On Saturday February 8, despite the capricious weather, the University of Montpellier welcomed a large number of visitors to its various campuses for its Open Day (JPO). This key date coincided with the opening of the ParcourSup enrolment period, giving future students the opportunity to discover the range of courses on offer at the UM.

The University's 17 faculties, schools and institutes, their dedicated departments and student volunteers, delighted to share their experiences, were all on hand to present the diversity of their courses (BUT, professional licenses, and many others). On the program: tours of the premises, meetings with teachers and themed conferences throughout the day. It was an ideal opportunity to find out more about the UM, find your bearings and prepare for your future at university, as well as to discover the various services and support available to our students throughout their university career (Crous, DVC, MDE, BU, SCUIO-IP, CFA, SFC...) and the various emblematic projects in which the UM is involved (Charm-Eu, IDIL...).

On the Triolet campus, Polytech, IAE, the Faculty of Science and ENSCM opened their doors.

The Faculty of Economics, ESEQ, Montpellier Management and IPAG welcomed visitors to the Richter campus.

Faculty of Odontology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Education, IUT Montpellier-Sète, IUT Nîmes, IUT Béziers, Faculty of STAPS, Faculty of Law & Political Science, Faculty of Medicine, were also on hand to provide information and give tours of their respective facilities.

Strong presence of emblematic projects and services dedicated to students (DVC, Les BU, CFA, Charm-Eu, IDIL, SCUIO-IP, Continuing Education Service, Maison des étudiants...).
