Let there be light

“Different perspectives on light”: an exhibition presented at the Faculty of Education to bring the International Year of Light to a close in style. From ancient times to the present day, many scholars and scientists have sought to define and measure light, but also to study the eye, vision, color perception, and more.
As part of UNESCO's International Year of Light, the University of Montpellier is offering “Different perspectives on light”, an exhibition organized around two themes: the nature of light and the capture of light.

On the agenda:

  • presentation of heritage objects preserved at the university;
  • demonstrations and experiments in workshops.
