Health, Social Services, and Disability
Because a healthy and fulfilling university life depends on good health and appropriate support, the University of Montpellier provides its students and staff with a range of services dedicated to healthcare, prevention, individual support, inclusion, and social support.
Health services
The Preventive Medicine Service (SCMPPS) provides prevention, promotion, and health education services to the entire student community and university staff. Its health professionals offer free and confidential consultations, as well as psychological and nutritional support, to promote success in studies and professional life. Throughout the year, this service also organizes health education workshops, stands, and webinars led by Student Health Representatives (ERS), its professionals, and local health partners.
The University Health Center (CSU) provides students with easy access to primary care from healthcare professionals at no upfront cost (general practitioners, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, physical therapists, etc.).
Situations of disability
For students and staff with disabilities, the Handiversité service and the SCMPPS work together to provide tailored support and offer personalized accommodations.
Social and financial support
Finally, measures are being put in place to support students and staff who need it.
