Health, Social and Disability
Because a healthy and fulfilling daily life at university depends on good health and appropriate support, the University of Montpellier offers its students and staff a range of services dedicated to care, prevention, individual support, inclusion and social support.
Health services
The Service de Médecine Préventive (SCMPPS) provides health prevention, promotion and education services for the entire student and staff community. Its health professionals offer free, confidential visits, as well as psychological and nutritional support, to help students succeed in their studies and careers. Throughout the year, the service also organizes health education workshops, stands and webinars run by the Étudiants Relais Santé (ERS), its professionals and local health partners.
The Centre de Soins Universitaire (CSU) provides students with easy access to primary care from healthcare professionals without advance payment (general practitioners, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, physiotherapists, etc.).
Disability situations
For students and staff with disabilities, the Handiversité service and the SCMPPS work together to provide tailor-made support and offer personalized accommodations.
Social and financial support
Last but not least, we have set up a number of support systems for students and staff who need them.
