Crocos of the world
The association's activities and objectives
Created in 2007, "Crocos du monde" is an association of health students from the Nîmes Faculty of Medicine. Its aim is to enable students to get involved in humanitarian work, each at their own level, and to raise awareness of global disparities.
On a local level, the association takes part in actions with the Nîmes Red Cross:
- marauding ;
- activities in EHPAD ;
- Restos du Cœur: food collections;
- awareness-raising activities at the Faculty of Medicine.
The association also runs international solidarity projects focusing on health and education, made possible by fund-raising activities carried out during the academic year. Numerous actions have already been carried out, with projects taking shape in countries such as Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Morocco, Togo and, this year, Benin.
Concerned about the environment, it is committed to sustainable development: partnership with the company "Dans ma Culotte" for the sale of menstrual briefs, and with the Nîmes CHU sorting center, raising awareness of ecological issues among students.
