Activities and objectives of the association

Founded in 2017, the GEEARS association (Groupe d’Electronique Electrotechnique et Automatisme en Robotique et Spatial) aims to provi
ly students at the University of Montpellier with access to premises and tools for carrying out projects.

Our objectives:

• Introducing people to the world of electronics, robotics, and space.
• Give students the opportunity to apply their knowledge to real-world projects.
• Design and implement projects from start to finish in the fields of electronics, robotics, and/or space technology.
• Propose and support community or personal projects.
• Welcome and introduce students from diverse backgrounds—mechanical engineering, biology, computer science, environmental studies, etc.—to electronics and embedded system programming.
