Student life
Student life at university offers a multitude of enriching experiences and opportunities. It's a privileged time to blossom, forge links, get to know each other better and grow in maturity. The University of Montpellier is fully committed to this dynamic.
Across our campuses and in our student life centers, we offer a wide range of initiatives to help students have fun, relax and meet new people, as well as develop the cross-disciplinary skills they need to succeed in their studies.
The University of Montpellier also welcomes a large number of international students, who contribute to the richness and diversity of university life.
Cultural and sporting activities, community life and festive events: everything is designed to encourage social interaction and personal fulfillment, and to help you make serene progress along the way.
For example...
... a specific and innovative annual program, entitled "Boost your English", is offered to all students. The program includes a variety of activities with English-speaking speakers, enabling students to practice their English in a free and fun way (visits to Montpellier, weekends, pottery workshops, etc.). Artistic workshops are regularly organized, especially during vacation periods: computer-assisted music, poster design, botanical drawing, for beginners or advanced students.
The university also provides essential support for students experiencing difficulties. Whether they need to break their isolation, cope with a precarious situation or benefit from psychological or social support, several services are mobilized to listen and support them.
The Bureau de la Vie Étudiante (BVE) is the driving force behind campus life, coordinating, coordinating and supporting a wide range of activities at the university.
All these actions are largely made possible by the Contribution de Vie Étudiante et de Campus(CVEC), which finances numerous projects and initiatives. Last but not least, the Fonds de Solidarité et de Développement des Initiatives Étudiantes (FSDIE) supports student association initiatives and students in difficulty.
