AQUASSO

AQUASSO is an association of students and alumni of the BAEMT (Bioressources Aquatiques en Environnement Méditerranéen et Tropical) specialization of the BGAE (Biologie Géosciences Agroressources Environnement) Master's degree at the University of Montpellier. Its aim is to create a network of exchanges between students and alumni to promote the training and encourage professional integration. AQUASSO organizes an annual scientific symposium devoted to aquatic resource issues. The event is aimed at all students, and also concerns the general public, thanks to the efforts made by the speakers and organizers to make the subject as accessible as possible to the general public.

D'Clic

Activities and objectives of the association If you're passionate about photography, D'Clic is for you! Our aim is to bring our original photographic vision of the world to a wider public. By joining D'Clic, you can use our laboratory throughout the academic year to print black and white silver prints and develop film. Our premises are on the Triolet campus, accessible during the day and early evening, close to the classrooms. We don't offer courses, but rather learning by observing and critiquing images together over a cup of coffee. We also aim to promote each other's work through exhibitions on campus.

ARTIO

Activities and objectives of the association Artio is a special association, reserved exclusively for IEGB Master's students, with a lifetime membership. Its aim is to create cohesion within the IEGB Master's program, generating a pleasant atmosphere conducive to mutual support and the sharing of students' knowledge and skills. Artio lends naturalist equipment to students and helps support EU projects involving fieldwork, as well as organizing naturalist outings and conferences. The association also supports individual and/or group projects by Master's students. What's more, it ensures continuity between the different years of the Master's program, enabling the creation of a large network of former students, helping them to enter the professional world.

Activities and objectives of the association The Pro STAPS association brings together students from the UFR STAPS' DEUST ACSS and professional degree courses. It supports student initiatives: development of an alumni network; support for the creation of events: start-up marathon (annual competition for the creation of innovative sports-related start-ups); sport challenge (annual event designed by DEUST students for students). Here, singers express themselves not only with their voices, but also with their bodies. The choir is made up mainly of students and staff from Montpellier's universities. Brin de Forêt is an association whose ambition is to organize scientific events on current issues in ecology and biodiversity protection. The association creates a network of exchanges between researchers, students and people interested in ecological issues. By bringing together the general public, researchers, professionals and students, we aim to promote the dissemination of knowledge relating to ecology and the place of humans in ecosystems through a symposium and cultural and educational projects. The association is run by students in the BioGET (Plant Biology and Management of Tropical Ecosystems) course in the B2E Master's program at the University of Montpellier. Within this framework, a colloquium on a topical subject concerning tropical ecosystems is organized every year. Since 2014, the association has addressed the topics of "Payments for Environmental Services", "Climate change and its impacts on tropical ecosystems", "Biodiversity erosion", "Ecological engineering in the tropics", "Ethnobotany: plants and people, linked destinies in the tropics" and "Do women and men have the same relationship with tropical ecosystems?". This year's symposium will focus on the myth of the rainforest, with a reflection on the place of human societies in tropical ecosystems. Activities and objectives of the association The missions of La ParenThèse, a non-profit organization under the French law of 1901, are: to combat student drop-out and loneliness during the scientific writing process (master's thesis, doctoral dissertation); to accelerate graduation; and to promote employability, in particular through the creation of an interdisciplinary socio-professional network during the writing process. To achieve this, team members organize 3 types of events, bringing together between 10 and 15 student participants (face-to-face) and around 40 students (online). These events are linked to a scientific production process: writing events (writing days, writing stays and mini-ParenThèses); self-help and exchange events (Plume Doc workshops, Master Class); disconnection events (AfterThèse wilderness days).

Activities and objectives of the association Founded in 2017, the GEEARS association ( Groupe d'Electronique Electrotechnique et Automatisme en Robotique et Spatial ) aims to provide Montpellier University students with access to premises and tools leading to the realization of projects.
