Activities and Objectives of the Association The AAEPM organizes initiatives to make daily life easier for pharmacy students and to enrich student life. The association manages a copy service and the Pharmacy Department’s cafeteria. It also organizes a career fair to help students navigate their professional paths. To energize campus life, the AAEPM offers students various events: Ski Pharma, a week-long ski trip organized for 250 students each year; social gatherings; and the School of Pharmacy Gala. The association also serves to represent students both locally—through various councils working directly with student representatives—and nationally through the ANEPF (National Association of Pharmacy Students in France), of which it is one of 24 board members. Activities and Objectives of the Association This association brings together students from various degree programs (Professional Bachelor’s in Cosmetics and Master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Health Products, with a specialization in Aging and Anti-Aging Strategies). The association enables them to participate in competitions (U’Cosmetics), attend trade shows and conferences, and subsequently expand their professional network. The association’s objective is to promote these programs and their students so that they can gain an advantage in entering the workforce.

Association Carabine Montpelliéraine (ACM)

Activities and Objectives of the Association The ACM is a nonprofit, apolitical, and non-denominational association governed by the French Law of 1901, which aims to represent medical students in Montpellier. With close ties to the PASS/LAS Tutoring Program and the teaching staff of the UFR Medicine, the ACM provides students with the most reliable course materials and past exam questions possible, as well as other services. In addition, the ACM is part of the local student representation network (Z’élus associatifs) and the national network (ANEMF—National Association of Medical Students of France), which advocates for students’ interests before administrative and governmental bodies. The ACM also organizes public health initiatives, cultural events, and, of course, social gatherings to enliven student life in Montpellier—notably the famous Medicine Gala. Activities and Objectives of the Association The Association of Pharmacy Tutors (ATP) provides support to PASS and LAS students to help them prepare as effectively as possible for their exams. Membership in the ATP is free, and all the content offered is identical to that provided by the Montpellier Health Tutors Association and the Nîmes Health Tutoring Program. Activities and Objectives of the Association Dislalie, the association for speech-language pathology students in Montpellier, was founded in 1998. It is run by an executive board of 19 members and by all the students who belong to the association. Being a member of Dislalie means fully participating in student life and enjoying numerous benefits and events. Dislalie offers a wide range of services and activities: cultural events, social gatherings, tips for everyday life, and advice on studying abroad. But Dislalie also supports speech-language pathology students as they enter the workforce, through its equipment ordering service, job postings regularly published on the website, and preferential rates offered by our partners. Activities and Objectives of the Association Founded in 2015, the Hello World Association aims to provide undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students in computer science, mathematics, and related fields at the University of Montpellier with support, career guidance, assistance with entering the workforce, and opportunities for social cohesion. Our objectives: tutoring sessions, mock exams, and the creation of booklets containing past exam questions; organizing events (student fairs, conferences, film screenings and discussions, computer workshops, etc.); inter-association projects (social evenings, happy hours, orientation weekends, fairs, etc.); administrative and financial support for student projects; student representation and mediation.

As a true professional network, the association helps chemists in their search for jobs, internships, or thesis opportunities. Ma’LICE offers the following services to all members: access to past exam papers; an educational resource center; 50 free printouts; and the sale of professional equipment (lab coats, safety goggles, etc.). Montpellier University Symphony Orchestra (OSUM)

Activities and Goals of the Association Do you play music? Do you enjoy social gatherings? Come join the Montpellier University Symphony Orchestra! This orchestra is made up of about 60 musicians and welcomes students, faculty, researchers, as well as amateur musicians from outside the academic community. The OSUM performs about ten concerts a year, both in the city and throughout the region. The highlight concert of the year takes place in late November at the Opéra Comédie, to benefit La Ligue contre le cancer. The symphony orchestra rehearses every Wednesday from 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. in Lecture Hall 5.06 of the Faculty of Sciences. We’re recruiting woodwind and string players—feel free to visit the OSUM website for more information. We’ll be there during the new student orientation day and at the Antigone student club fair. Activities and Objectives of the Association The Objectif Terre association brings together undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students in earth and water sciences at the University of Montpellier. Objectif Terre supports students in their academic lives through group purchases of supplies and by providing past exam papers. The association also organizes various events, such as parties, happy hours, and trips. To foster a strong sense of community among its members, the association publishes a newsletter called “Géoscoop” and designs a T-shirt every year.
