General overview The Faculty of Education is part of the University of Montpellier, heir to the IUFM (University Institute for Teacher Training), but resolutely focused on the future. It offers distinctive training programs in the fields of Animation, Mediation, Teaching, Education, and Training, from bachelor's to master's degrees. It organizes MEEF (Teaching, Education, and Training Professions) master's degree programs in partnership with the Montpellier Academy's INSPE (National Higher Institute for Teaching and Education) and prepares students for the National Education competitive examinations. It has campuses in Mende, Carcassonne, Montpellier, Nîmes, and Perpignan. General overview Located in the heart of the Richter Campus and easily accessible thanks to two tram lines, the Faculty of Economics at the University of Montpellier offers a dynamic, friendly study environment that is conducive to success. These courses provide students with a solid foundation in economic analysis, quantitative methods, and social sciences, while developing skills that are in high demand in many sectors. At the Master's level, the program offers two specializations: Money, Banking, Finance, and Insurance (MBFA), comprising several specialized tracks: actuarial science, banking risk, market risk, financial engineering, and information systems. Economics, with a wide range of tracks covering the major areas of economics: energy economics, environmental economics, development economics, digital economics, public economics, health systems, economic psychology, governance, and public policy. The programs offered by the Faculty of Economics are distinguished by their strong professional focus (internships, projects, apprenticeships for several tracks), close links with research, and excellent job placement rates. Graduates thus have access to a wide variety of careers: economic analyst, econometrician, research officer, data scientist, actuary, market or banking finance expert, economic development specialist, teacher, researcher, and many others. General overview The origins of the Montpellier Law School date back to the 12th century, when Placentin taught law in Montpellier. Over the centuries, the "University of Laws" became the "School of Law" and then the "Faculty of Law and Political Science" of Montpellier, remaining faithful to its original vocation. It has trained generations of lawyers from all countries and cultures. This is how it has built its scientific reputation, international renown, and ambitions in this field. In recent years, the Faculty has also been offering a comprehensive and innovative program (bachelor's, master's, doctorate) in Political Science.
