Plant Health Institute of Montpellier (PHIM)

Numerous interactions take place between the various micro and macro-organisms of agro-ecosystems and plants. These interactions, which determine plant health, growth and productivity, are often poorly understood.

UMR PHIM generates knowledge and solutions to improve plant health, productivity and quality. PHIM uses molecular biology and genetics, population genetics and genomics, epidemiology and population dynamics and modeling to study these interactions at scales ranging from the cell to the crop plot.
