Marcoule Institute of Separative Chemistry (ICSM)

The ICSM's primary missions in response to energy issues are to :

UMR 5257
  • to develop fundamental research in the chemistry and physical chemistry of the separative chemistry processes required for the development of low-carbon energies, in a context of increasing scarcity of natural resources, by innovating to separate, sort and recycle (strategic metals);
  • design and optimize materials to anticipate the cycles of the future by developing research for sustainable nuclear power and alternative energies, with the aim of recycling reusable materials.
