Charles Coulomb Laboratory (L2C)

UMR 5221

The L2C is a physics laboratory with the distinctive feature of having, within a single unit, a wide range of skills from the most mathematical theoretical physics to physical chemistry and biophysics, with a strong foundation of fundamental research devoted to condensed matter and nanoscience.

A significant proportion of the L2C's activities are focused on applications, resulting in patents, industrial collaborations and even the creation of start-ups.
The L2C's activities are increasingly positioned at the interfaces with Chemistry, Biology-Health and Agronomy.
