Workshop/Debate.
Triolet Campus – Place Eugène Bataillon – Building 7 – Assembly Hall and Lobby.

This workshop/debate will present the key findings of the survey "LGBT+ issues in the workplace," conducted a few months ago among UM staff by L'Autre Cercle and IFOP. Analysis of the results will provide an opportunity to discuss and consider future awareness-raising initiatives aimed at students and staff.
The presence of Maître Charles Bernier, lawyer for Le Refuge, will enable us to address the various issues faced by LGBT+ people in the workplace and in public spaces. We will ask him about the legal mechanisms designed to protect LGBT+ people in their professional environment and in civil society.
Associations are mobilizing and will participate in the debate. SOS Homophobia, Narval UM, Le Clef, Le Refuge, and ABC Trajectoire will also be in the lobby of Building 7 to present their commitment to the fight against homophobia and answer your questions.
Antoine Chereau, a press cartoonist for 30 years, will be joining us. He will be providing live commentary in his incisive, funny, and offbeat style, producing illustrations to accompany the survey results.

In the presence of:

  • Christian Van Hove, Secretary General of the Autre Cercle Languedoc-Roussillon,
  • Charles Bernier, lawyer for the Le Refuge association
  • and Antoine Chereau, editorial cartoonist.

This event is organized as part of UM's Homophobia Awareness Week.
