Exceptional meeting with Jakuta Alikavazovic - Prix du Roman des étudiants France Culture

As part of the 2025 literary season and the France Culture Student Novel Prize, Jean-Michel MARIN, Dean of the Montpellier Faculty of Science, and Sonia CHALBI, in charge of Arts, Culture and Science, are pleased to announce the exceptional visit of author Jakuta ALIKAVAZOVIC for a meeting with students and staff on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 6:15 pm in amphitheater 36.01.

Novelist, translator and columnist Jakuta ALIKAVAZOVIC is a major voice in contemporary literature. Winner of the Prix Goncourt for first novels for Corps volatils and the Prix de la rentrée littéraire du Monde for L'avancée de la nuit, she was also a finalist for the Prix Médicis. This year, she is in the running for the Femina and Renaudot awards for her latest work, Au grand jamais.
A regular at the Comédie du Livre, which she has honored with her presence on several occasions, and a guest at MOCO la Panacée in 2024 for the exhibition Entre les lignes. Art et littérature, this time she'll be talking to students and the public about her latest book, Au grand jamais, and her relationship with writing.
There will be time for questions from the public after the meeting.
The Fiers de Lettres bookshop will be on hand to offer books linked to previous selections of the France Culture Student Novel Prize.
This event is co-organized with the Service Commun de Documentation and the Service art & culture of the Direction Vie des Campus de l'Université de Montpellier.
