Synopsis:
In the early 1970s, at the height of the civil rights movement, several race riots broke out in major U.S. cities. Ron Stallworth became the first African American officer in the Colorado Springs Police Department, but his arrival was met with skepticism—and even outright hostility—from the lower-ranking officers at the station. Summoning all his courage, Stallworth sets out to break new ground and, perhaps, make his mark on history. He then sets himself a most perilous mission: to infiltrate the Ku Klux Klan to expose its abuses.
