Tour of the conservation labs at the Interuniversity Library

Paul Valéry University Campus, Humanities Library. Meet at the reception desk of the Humanities Library.

The Interuniversity Library has three workshops within its Written and Graphic Heritage Department that handle the rare collections of the two universities in Montpellier:

•  the conservation and restoration workshop;
•  the photography workshop;
•  the digitization workshop.

These workshops, which are essential for the conservation and promotion of the university’s heritage collections, are now located on the ground floor of the University Library of Arts and Humanities, in fully renovated facilities featuring a new technical area that is ergonomic and equipped with enhanced safety measures.
Come discover these spaces, usually closed to the public, and enjoy demonstrations of restoration and digitization.
