Tour of the Interuniversity Library's Conservation Labs

Paul Valéry University Campus, Humanities Library. Meet at the reception desk of the Humanities Library.

The Interuniversity Library has three workshops within its Written and Graphic Heritage Department that handle the valuable collections of Montpellier’s two universities:

•  the conservation and restoration workshop;
•  the photography workshop;
•  the digitization workshop.

These workshops, which are essential for the preservation and promotion of the university’s heritage collections, are now located on the ground floor of the University Library of Letters and Humanities, in fully renovated facilities centered around a new technical space that is ergonomic and equipped with enhanced safety features.
Come explore these spaces, which are usually closed to the public, and enjoy demonstrations of restoration and digitization.
