Fulbright Scholarships for Researchers
University of Montpellier – 2026–2027 Academic Year: Applications are now being accepted.
The call for applications is open until September 15, 2025, for researchers affiliated with a university or research institute located in the United States who wish to visit the University of Montpellier during the 2025–2026 academic year.
Research proposals in all disciplines are welcome, but priority will be given to projects addressing the following topics: food security, the environment, and human health.
Practical Information
- Application deadline: September 15, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.
- Eligibility: Researchers affiliated with a university or research institute located in the United States
- Subjects: all fields
- Duration: 3 to 10 months
- Number of scholarships: 1
- Amount: €2,800 (approximately $3,000) per month. No allowance is provided for accompanying dependents. Applicants are responsible for finding their own housing, although some host institutions may assist with the process. The Euraxess network can also provide assistance with housing and local logistics.
Applicants to the program are responsible for obtaining their own invitation to the University of Montpellier. The invitation letter must specify the anticipated dates of the stay.
