Admission to the Master's program
Admission to the Master's program is regulated by the decrees and implementing regulations issued under the law of December 23, 2016.
Admission requirements for 2026–2027
In accordance with the decree of February 20, 2023, a single national platform for applications and recruitment for the first year of master's programs has been set up. All applications must be submitted via MonMaster, except in cases and for programs specified by order. For more information, visit MonMaster.gouv.fr.
As of February 17, 2026, if you hold (or are preparing to obtain) a national bachelor's degree or another degree that allows you to enter a master's program, you must apply via the national platform MonMaster.gouv.fr.
Recruitment is based on application upon entry into the master's program.
- Consult the general criteria for reviewing applications, as well as the capacity for Master's 1 programs and the limited capacity for applications open to the online application process (Mon Master portal), as voted by the University Board of Directors on November 17, 2025.
- Consult the administrative conditions for rejecting applications for the first year of the national master's degree for the 2026-2027 academic year: Board of Directors' decision of November 17, 2025: approval of the mandatory and optional elements comprising the application and recruitment file for the allocation of ranking or rejection of "Mon Master" applications.

The Mon Master platform displays two "employment rates in France" for each program, at 6 and 18 months. These two rates, known as "INSERSUP" rates, exclude graduates working in the liberal professions, business owners, artisans, or those working abroad. These rates therefore do not reflect the reality of professional integration. Furthermore, some Mon Master programs do not display INSERSUP rates because, as the salaried employment rate in France effectively excludes many graduates in employment, the threshold of statistical reliability is no longer guaranteed.
Forcompletely reliable informationonall graduates who entered the job market directly without pursuing further studies, we recommend consulting the website of the Observatory for Student Monitoring and Professional Integration at the University of Montpellier. These integration rates are calculated at 30 months (number of graduates in employment / number of graduates in employment and seeking employment). These data are collected by the OSIPE (Observatory for Student Monitoring and Professional Integration).
