The digital campus of the University of Montpellier’s School of Digital Health, “ESNbyUM,” is now online

The University of Montpellier (UM) School of Digital Health and its partners (ESNbyUM), an off-campus school and a project certified under the France 2030 initiative as part of the “Skills and Careers of the Future – Digital Health Training Component,” officially opens its digital campus, an immersive and collaborative platform dedicated to training the talent of tomorrow.

This ambitious digital campus project, the result of a collaboration between ESNbyUM, IAE Montpellier, and the UM’s Digital Information Systems Department, is an innovative tool that will help train a new generation of professionals capable of addressing the technological and human challenges facing the healthcare sector.

It is organized across various spaces:

  • an immersive 3D portal where users can explore the iconic landmarks of Montpellier served by its tram system and interact with the digital health ecosystem via its AI chatbot, ESN’Bot;
  • sections on orientation, training, resources, news, and alumni, tailored to different audiences: students, teachers, and members of the public.

The key features of this campus, developed with the help of two service providers—Meja and Pimenko—are:

  • bring together various healthcare professionals on a single digital health training platform;
  • pool educational resources on digital health;
  • enhance interdisciplinary coherence;
  • learn about digital health;
  • use an AI chatbot to personalize your training;
  • interact with alumni;
  • move around the immersive 3D space and visit Montpellier’s iconic landmarks.

The objectives of ESNbyUM

To train more than 10,000 students and professionals in healthcare, social services, and digital health over the next five years, equipping them with new skills and preparing them for emerging careers in digital technology and artificial intelligence within the healthcare sector.
