The digital campus of the Montpellier University School of Digital Health "ESNbyUM" is online
The École de Santé Numérique of the University of Montpellier (UM) and its partners (ESNbyUM), an off-site school and France 2030 accredited project within the framework of the A.M.I. "Compétences et Métiers d'Avenir - Volet Formation en Santé Numérique", officially opens its digital campus, an immersive and collaborative platform dedicated to training the talents of tomorrow.
This ambitious digital campus project, the fruit of collaboration between ESNbyUM, IAE Montpellier and UM's Digital Information Systems Department, is an innovative tool that will help train a new generation of professionals capable of meeting the technological and human challenges of the healthcare sector.
It is divided into different areas:
- a 3D immersive portal where you can visit the emblematic places of the city of Montpellier served by its tramways and interact with the digital health ecosystem via its AI Chatbot entitled ESN'Bot ;
- orientation, training, resources, news and alumni areas, dedicated to different audiences: students, teachers and citizens.
The assets of this campus, developed with the contribution of two service providers, the Meja and Pimenko companies, are :
- bring together different healthcare professionals on the same digital health training platform;
- share digital health teaching resources ;
- strengthening interdisciplinary coherence ;
- find out more about digital health ;
- use an AI chatbot to personalize your training ;
- interact with alumni;
- move around the immersive 3D space and visit Montpellier's landmarks.
ESNbyUM objectives
Over a five-year period, we will train more than 10,000 students and professionals in the healthcare and medical-social sectors, as well as those involved in digital healthcare, to help them acquire new skills and prepare them for the emerging professions in digital healthcare and artificial intelligence.
