A privileged moment to choose your orientation
This annual event allows high school students, parents and career guidance professionals to meet with the heads, professors and students of the 17 UFRs, schools and institutes of the UM, who have mobilized for this occasion. "I met with teachers from STAPS, the Polytech network and the Faculty of Science. The various exchanges allowed me to open my eyes to other disciplines such as the engineering degree," explains Quentin. It's a positive experience, I see things much more clearly. During these three days, UM professionals also led 16 conferences on health studies at the university, research and innovation careers, management, economics, future technology training (BUT), professional licenses and many other topics. "I was able to get answers to my questions about the different opportunities after studying law and politics but also to learn more about the organization of lectures. This will help me make my decision," says the young woman from Herault.
The open house on February 11 will be an opportunity to present the UFR, schools and institutes that make up the UM through various visits: campus, university libraries and student housing. " I was able to pick up a flyer for the next JPO and I'm going to go to the university to visit the Faculty of Law in order to get a feel for this new project ," concludes Clara.
