University Student Health Centre - General Medicine ConsultationThe University Health Centre offers full third-party payment.
In order to receive care without having to pay for the consultation you must present :

  • your student card
    + the Carte Vitale (or depending on your case, the provisional AMELI certificate or the EHIC)
    + a certificate of complementary French mutual insurance

Since September 2016, the Montpellier University Health Centre (CSU) has been offering Montpellier students "the best care and a health pathway adapted to their needs".

The University Care Centre is an inter-institutional service that allows all students to :

  • access to general medical, gynaecological and psychological support;
  • make appointments with general practitioners, specialists (gynaecologists, etc.) and paramedics (psychologists, etc.);
  • benefit from 100% coverage (no advance payment on presentation of the student card, the "carte vitale" and the certificate of complementary mutual insurance);
  • to be accompanied by a medical adviser (whose role is to respond to students' requests, to direct them to the structures best suited to their situation, to work closely with social workers, in particular for the monitoring of health care);
  • tohave access to a care pathway adapted to their particular needs.
