Activities and Objectives of the Association Founded in 1990, the QUANTA Association welcomes current and former physics students. Designed as a space for mutual support, it provides students with access to past exam papers and course materials. Our activities: Providing guidance to students and high school students. Organizing conferences, trips, social events, and cocktail parties/dinners. Inter-association projects (Telethon, parties, orientation weekends, etc.). Representing students on university councils.

Activities and Objectives of the Association The Montpellier Geosciences Association aims to organize student social events, sell geology equipment (hammers, compasses, notebooks), and other products such as sweaters. In addition, the association organizes geoscience conferences featuring professionals and doctoral students in the fields covered by the TEE Department (Earth, Water, Environment).

Activities and Objectives of the Association: The MediACCES Track Association of the Master’s Program in Biology, Ecology, and Evolution at the University of Montpellier. Our association’s mission is to support and guide members in their projects related to science outreach and the promotion of scientific culture. In this way, it helps build a sense of community among students while enabling them to develop communication skills outside of their formal coursework.

Activities and Objectives of the Association The objective of this association is to bring together students (current and former) as well as faculty members from the Plant Biology (Biology and Mechanisms of Life) programs. To this end, it organizes events related to the program while fostering professional and personal networks. By maintaining these networks, the association facilitates the sharing of internship opportunities, job openings, and thesis/Ph.D. opportunities related to plant biology research. The association also provides course materials. Finally, it organizes social outings to strengthen bonds between and within the different graduating classes.

Activities and Objectives of the Association Founded in 2000, Pharma-Humanitaire participates in numerous public health initiatives, particularly among students but also among the general public. The association is wrapping up the year with an international solidarity project. Our Public Health Initiatives: Blood Donation, Awareness Campaigns for Bone Marrow and Organ Donation Pink October, Movember, and Blue March Telethon Sidaction Hôpital des Nounours and Nez pour Sourire Since 2015, we have been promoting local solidarity through a partnership with the Red Cross. After Madagascar and Mali, our International Solidarity mission is now taking place in Togo. Que vous souhaitiez vous investir dans la culture, le sport, l’humanitaire, l’écologie ou plutôt dans votre filière, il y a forcément une association pour vous. S’engager dans une asso universitaire, c’est bien plus qu’une simple activité : c’est une opportunité de s’intégrer, de rencontrer des étudiants de différentes filières, mais aussi de développer de nouvelles compétences au-delà de la formation académique. S’engager dans une asso, c’est s’ouvrir au monde, s’épanouir dans sa vie étudiante et favoriser sa réussite universitaire. Créer une association étudiante répond à plusieurs objectifs : Faciliter l’intégration : rejoindre une association permet de rencontrer de nouvelles personnes et de s’intégrer plus facilement à la vie du campus. Exprimer ses passions et défendre des causes : que ce soit à travers des activités culturelles, sportives ou engagées, l’association est un espace propice à l’expression et à l’action. Valoriser son engagement : l’expérience associative est un atout à mettre en avant tout au long du parcours universitaire, en particulier lors de la recherche d’un stage ou d’un emploi. Développer des compétences : l’engagement associatif permet de développer des compétences clés comme  la gestion de projet, le travail en équipe ou la prise de parole en public. Choisir un objectif et définir un statut Avant de se lancer dans la création d’une association, certaines démarches sont indispensables pour s’assurer de son officialisation et garantir son bon fonctionnement. Avant tout, il faut définir un nom, un objectif ainsi que des membres fondateurs. La loi du 1er juillet 1901, sur la liberté d’association, fixe un cadre juridique et encadre le fonctionnement des associations. Pour créer votre association, il sera nécessaire de procéder à certaines étapes, dont la rédaction des statuts. Ces derniers, rédigés par les membres de l’association, permettent de définir son objectif et son bon fonctionnement. Les démarches Contacter le SVE et le BVE : première étape essentielle Avant toute démarche, il est impératif de prendre contact avec le service vie étudiante (SVE)  et le bureau de la vie étudiante (BVE) en joignant votre projet de statuts. Ils sont vos interlocuteurs principaux pour vous accompagner tout au long du processus de création d’une association étudiante. Après relecture et vérification de vos statuts, un rendez-vous vous sera proposé avec le SVE et le BVE. Déclaration en préfecture La déclaration en préfecture ne peut se faire qu’après la validation des statuts par l’Université.Uniquement après celle-ci, vous pourrez réaliser votre déclaration en ligne. Cette démarche consiste à remplir un formulaire et à transmettre les documents nécessaires. Une fois votre association enregistrée, elle recevra un numéro RNA et sera automatiquement inscrite au Journal Officiel (une formalité obligatoire et payante). Domicilier son association à l’UM La domiciliation détermine l’adresse administrative de l’association. C’est une condition obligatoire pour être reconnue comme une association étudiante de l’Université de Montpellier. Elle est gérée par le SVE de l’université. Il existe deux cas de figure : Pour les associations de filière (rattachées à une UFR, école ou institut) : Le SVE soumet la demande de domiciliation à la composante concernée pour passage en Conseil d’UEI (UFR, école ou institut). Une fois l’avis favorable du conseil obtenu, le SVE transmet la demande de domiciliation au Conseil Académique de l’Université de Montpellier (CAC). Les fondateurs et fondatrices de l’association doivent signer la charte des associations lorsque la demande de domiciliation a été approuvée par le CAC. Pour les associations généralistes (non rattachée à une composante pédagogique de l’UM) : La démarche se limite à une seule étape : le SVE soumet directement la demande de domiciliation au Conseil Académique de l’Université de Montpellier. Dans les deux cas, la demande de domiciliation, accompagnée des statuts, doit être transmise par mail aux adresses suivantes : For associations that have already been established but wish to register their address at the university, the process remains the same. Funding Your Project Apply to the FSDIE: The FSDIE (Fund to Support the Development of Student Initiatives) provides financial assistance to student projects related to campus life: culture, sports, community service, etc. Would you like to obtain funding for a student organization project?
