Center for Political and Social Studies: Environment, Health, and Territories (CEPEL)
CEPEL operates within the academic fields of political science and sociology. The Public Health sector has gradually expanded, largely due to unsolicited requests from hospital practitioners seeking to focus their research on the humanities and social sciences.
CEPEL’s evolution is aligned with the research strategies of its parent organizations (UM/CNRS) and fits within the thematic areas specific to the Montpellier campus (feeding – healthcare – protection), while maintaining its traditional expertise in the fields of public policy and comparative studies.
