Drugstore

The second-largest medicinal herb collection in France after the one in Paris, the collection at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Montpellier features a unique collection of approximately 15,000 medicinal samples. Preserved in their original jars, all of these medicinal preparations are listed as Historic Monuments.

Anatomy Museum

The anatomy museum boasts a rich collection of anatomical specimens donated by professors and students, as well as supplementary collections such as wax casts and surgical instruments. It houses more than 5,000 items, a large portion of which are designated as Historic Monuments.

Atger Museum

Montpellier’s oldest museum, the Musée Atger, houses an exceptional collection of 17th- and 18th-century drawings and prints. Bringing together works by both lesser-known and renowned masters of the French, Italian, and Flemish schools, this museum offers medical students an opportunity to explore art and learn the basics of drawing techniques.

Albert Ciurana Pharmacy Museum

The Albert Ciurana Museum traces the progress of pharmaceutical science over the centuries, linking theory and practice. It houses objects, books, furniture, busts, oil paintings, and machinery—all donated items related to the history of pharmacy.

Hall of the Former Delmas-Orfila-Rouvière Museums

The collections of the former Delmas-Orfila-Rouvière anatomical museums comprise more than 13,000 real and artificial anatomical specimens, which are classified as Historic Monuments. Formerly housed in the premises of the Paris Faculty of Medicine, they are now housed at the University of Montpellier.
