The AAP – “NEXT” and “CHEM-IA” Master’s Internship Scholarships from the Chemistry Cluster
The Chemistry Research Cluster is issuing calls for proposals under the NEXT 2026 and CHEM-IA 2026 programs to fund 16 Master’s 2 internships in 2026.

Background
The Chemistry Research Cluster, as part of the Long-Term Thematic Projects (PTL), is issuing “NEXT 2026” calls for proposals to fund 12 Master’s 2 internships. Two thematic areas are covered: CHIMENE (“Sustainable Chemistry for Energy”), which will fund projects in the fields of energy and the environment, and CARLA (“Sustainable Chemistry for Health”), which will fund projects in the fields of health and the environment by placing sustainable development at the heart of their scientific approach.
At the same time, the Chemistry Research Cluster, in partnership with CEA/ISEC – Marcoule, is launching its first call for projects, “CHEM-IA 2026,” which aims to award four Master’s 2 internship grants specifically focused on the application of artificial intelligence methods to problems in chemistry.
Objective
These calls forproposalsare intended to fund5- to 6-monthinternships at the Master 2 level(or third year of an engineering program)with a grant of 5,000 €for the year 2026, in priority scientific fields.
- AAP NEXT – CARLA: Sustainable Chemistry for Health (6 internship grants)
- AAP NEXT – CHIMENE: Sustainable Chemistry for Energy (6 internship grants)
- AAP CHEM-IA: Artificial Intelligence in Chemistry (4 internship grants)
Procedure
You candownloadthe documents for each call for proposalshere:
- the guidelines (eligibility requirements, terms and conditions, procedure) and,
- the funding application form (common to all three calls for proposals).
We would also like to note that applicants must complete the application form and submit it to the email address listed in the instructions.
We thank you in advance for your proposals, which will contribute to the scientific reputation of the Chemistry Research Cluster and to the success of these strategic initiatives.
