[LUM#6] Healing

Healing, craters, baboons, carnivorous plants… Welcome to the6th episode of Lum, the University of Montreal’s science and society magazine

Healing: the brain, polluted land, and of course the body—whether through cutting-edge techniques or alternative therapies… That’s the theme of this new issue of Lum.

Also in this issue: the origins of language, inspiring carnivorous plants, a peaceful end of life, and a university coming to life in priority neighborhoods…

But to kick off this new issue, let’s head to the center of the crater left by the asteroid believed to have caused the extinction of the dinosaurs. Above the turquoise waters of the Yucatán, researchers have been drilling day and night to unravel its mysteries.
