Association d'Aquariophilie et de Terrariophilie de l'Université de Montpellier (AATUM)

The association's activities and objectives

The aim of the AATUM association is to promote aquaristics and terraristics to members of the university, to raise public awareness of uncommon animals, and to learn how to care for and maintain them in the most respectful conditions possible.

More broadly, it helps to promote a biodiversity that is sometimes little-known within the university. It enables students to broaden their scientific knowledge and critical thinking about aquarium and terrarium maintenance. Its residents are many and varied: on the aquarium side, fish, amphibians and turtles; on the terrarium side, insects, lizards and snakes.

The association is open to amateurs and beginners alike, and everyone is welcome to contribute.
