Activities and objectives of the association The BDE Sciences is an association whose aim is to help and support students of all scientific disciplines, during their studies and their projects. The association participates in student life through various types of events. Evenings, charity projects, scientific conferences supported by its new science center, as well as more entertaining projects such as sports tournaments. All these activities help to integrate students into their studies and graduating classes. Sponsorship is an essential tool for ensuring personalized, human follow-up. Activities and objectives of the association The missions of La ParenThèse, a non-profit organization under the French law of 1901, are: to combat student drop-out and loneliness during the scientific writing process (master's thesis, doctoral dissertation); to accelerate graduation; and to promote employability, in particular through the creation of an interdisciplinary socio-professional network during the writing process. To achieve this, team members organize 3 types of events, bringing together between 10 and 15 student participants (face-to-face) and around 40 students (online). These events are linked to a scientific production process: writing events (writing days, writing stays and mini-ParenThèses); self-help and exchange events (Plume Doc workshops, Master Class); disconnection events (AfterThèse wilderness days).

Activities and objectives of the association Founded in 2017, the GEEARS association ( Groupe d'Electronique Electrotechnique et Automatisme en Robotique et Spatial ) aims to provide Montpellier University students with access to premises and tools leading to the realization of projects. Our objectives: To introduce students to the world of electronics, robotics and space. Give students the opportunity to apply their knowledge to concrete projects. Design and carry out projects from A to Z related to electronics, robotics and/or space. Propose and support associative or personal projects. Welcome and introduce students from a variety of backgrounds to electronics and embedded system programming: mechanical engineering, biology, IT, environmental studies, etc.

The association's activities and objectives Created in 2006 by a group of students convinced of the fundamental role played by each and every one of us in society, l'Ouvre-Tête is committed to enabling every individual to play a part in the future they want. Today, the association brings together people from all walks of life: students from all universities, salaried workers, RSA recipients, voluntary workers... Far from any doctrine, we want to get people's brains moving. Let the information flow, and let the thinking begin. Opening minds is above all about enabling people to meet and exchange ideas, so that everyone can build their own opinion. It's about fighting indifference and resignation. We try to approach these issues from different points of view: scientific, sociological, political, educational... Activities and objectives of the association Founded in 2015, the Hello World association aims to offer undergraduate, master's and PhD students in computer science, mathematics and affiliates at the University of Montpellier solutions for mutual support, guidance, professional integration and social cohesion. Our objectives: tutoring sessions, mock exams and the creation of exam booklets from previous years; organization of events (student fairs, conferences, screenings, computer workshops, etc.); inter-associative projects (evenings, aperitifs, integration weekends, fairs, etc.); administrative and financial support for student projects; student representation and mediation.

Music at the University of Science and Technology (MUST)

The MUST association is open to all student musicians. It offers rehearsals on its premises and the opportunity to take part in its concerts. A meeting (in October) brings together members with a view to creating their own group. The association also accepts groups that have already been formed. Ma'LICE - Chemistry

Activities and objectives of the association The Ma'LICE association brings together all chemistry students and alumni of the University of Montpellier. A true professional network, the association helps chemists in their search for jobs, internships or theses. Ma'LICE offers the following services: access to annals from previous years; teaching space; 50 free printouts; sale of professional equipment (gowns, safety glasses, etc.). Membership is free for all.

Montpellier University Symphony Orchestra (OSUM)

Activities and objectives of the association Do you play music? Do you enjoy convivial moments? Come and join the Montpellier University Symphony Orchestra! This orchestra is made up of around 60 musicians, including students, teachers, researchers and amateur musicians from outside the university world. The OSUM gives around ten concerts a year, in the city and in the region. The flagship concert of the year takes place at the end of November at the Opéra Comédie, in aid of La Ligue contre le cancer. The symphony orchestra rehearses every Wednesday from 8 to 10.30pm, in amphitheatre 5.06 of the Faculty of Science. We are recruiting wind and string players, so don't hesitate to consult the OSUM website for more information. Activities and objectives of the association The Objectif Terre association brings together students in the Bachelor's, Master's and PhD programs in earth and water sciences at the University of Montpellier. Objectif Terre helps students in their university life through group purchases of equipment and the provision of examination books.
