AQUASSO

Activities and objectives of the association AQUASSO is an association of students and alumni specializing in BAEMT (Aquatic Bioresources in Mediterranean and Tropical Environments) within the BGAE (Biology, Geosciences, Agroresources, Environment) Master's program at the University of Montpellier. Activities and objectives of the association If you are passionate about photography, D'Clic will interest you! We want to share our original photographic vision of the world with a wide audience. By joining D'Clic, you can use our lab throughout the academic year to print black and white photos and develop films. Our premises are located on the Triolet campus, accessible during the day and early evening, close to the classrooms. We do not offer classes, but rather learning through observation and joint critique of photographs over coffee. We also seek to promote everyone's work through exhibitions on campus.

Activities and objectives of the association Artio is a unique association in that it is reserved exclusively for students enrolled in the IEGB master's program, with lifetime membership. It aims to foster cohesion within the IEGB master's program in order to create a pleasant atmosphere conducive to mutual support and the sharing of knowledge and skills among students. Artio lends naturalist equipment to students and supports courses that include fieldwork. It also organizes naturalist outings and conferences. The association also supports individual and/or group projects by Master's students. In addition, it ensures continuity between the different Master's cohorts, thus creating a large network of alumni, which is particularly helpful for professional integration.

Activities and objectives of the association Brin de Forêt is an association whose ambition is to organize scientific events on current issues in ecology and biodiversity protection. This association creates a network for exchange between researchers, students, and people interested in ecology-related issues. By bringing together the general public, researchers, professionals, and students, we aim to promote the dissemination of knowledge about ecology and the place of humans in ecosystems through conferences and cultural and educational projects. The association is managed by students from the BioGET (Plant Biology and Tropical Ecosystem Management) program of the B2E Master's degree at the University of Montpellier. As part of this, a conference on a topical issue concerning tropical ecosystems is organized each year. Since 2014, the association has addressed the themes of "Payments for Environmental Services," "Climate Change and its Impacts on Tropical Ecosystems," "Biodiversity erosion," "Ecological engineering in the tropics," "Ethnobotany: plants and humans, intertwined destinies in the tropics," and "Do women and men have the same relationship with tropical ecosystems?" This year, the symposium will focus on the myth of the virgin forest, accompanied by a reflection on the place of human societies in tropical ecosystems. Activities and objectives of the association The missions of the La ParenThèse association, established under the French law of 1901, are: to combat student dropout and loneliness during scientific writing activities (master's thesis, doctoral thesis); to accelerate the completion of their degrees; to promote their employability, in particular by creating an interdisciplinary socio-professional network during the writing process. To achieve this, the team members organize three types of events that bring together between 10 and 15 student participants (in person) and around 40 students (online).
