Service Commun de Médecine Préventive et de Promotion de la Santé (Joint Service for Preventive Medicine and Health Promotion)

Student Preventive Medicine Department This department provides all students with access to: medical check-ups to assess their state of health and evaluate preventive measures medical check-ups to diagnose and evaluate a disability, and to recommend adjustments to their studies and examinations/competitions, depending on their course of study and how their knowledge is assessed immunization monitoring (mandatory for students in health-related or high-risk courses) emergency contraception dispensing Staff Preventive Medicine Department This department provides all staff members with : medical check-ups to assess their state of health and provide professional medical follow-up medical check-ups to assess workplaces, workstations, conditions and risks, and to recommend any necessary adjustments vaccination follow-up Specialized Consultations and Preventive Action Department This department gives all students and staff access to : clinical psychology consultations and psychological care specialized prevention consultations (addictology, tobaccoology, dietetics) In cooperation with the Student Life Offices, it also sets up collective actions and workshops in health education, risk prevention and health promotion, as close as possible to where students live and study. It also coordinates a team of 8 Health Relay Students (ERS) whose mission is to pass on health messages to their peers through on-site actions. University Care Center

Administrative manager: Jérémy Esteves The Centre de Soins Universitaire de Montpellier (CSU) offers Montpellier students "the best possible care and a healthcare path adapted to their needs". The Centre de Soins Universitaire is an inter-institutional service that gives all students: access to general medical, gynecological and psychological support consultations; appointments with general practitioners, specialists (gynecologists, etc.) and paramedics (psychologists, etc.); access to medical and psychological support.); benefit from 100% reimbursement (no advance payment on presentation of student card, carte vitale and certificate of complementary mutual insurance); be accompanied by a doctor (whose role is to respond to students' requests, direct them to the structures best suited to their situation, and work closely with social workers, in particular to monitor their health); have access to a care path adapted to their particular needs.
