Agro-Polymer Engineering and Emerging Technologies (IATE)
UMR IATE is developing a multidisciplinary scientific approach to the characterization, processing, and utilization of renewable agricultural resources from the agricultural, forestry, and agri-food sectors.

The UMR focuses in particular on the structure and functions of biopolymers and biomolecules.
His multidisciplinary expertise lies at the intersection of:
- biochemistry;
- physical chemistry;
- process engineering;
- biotechnology;
- chemistry;
- physics;
- numerical and computational modeling.
The research addresses the complexity of agricultural resources using advanced analytical methods and the development of innovative technological pathways for processing in the fields of food and agriculture, bio-based materials, biocatalysis, and bioenergy.
