Agro-Polymer Engineering and Emerging Technologies (IATE)
UMR IATE is developing a multidisciplinary scientific approach to the characterization, processing, and utilization of renewable agricultural resources from the agricultural, forestry, and agri-food sectors.

The UMR focuses in particular on the structure and functions of biopolymers and biomolecules.
His multidisciplinary expertise lies at the intersection of:
- biochemistry;
- physical chemistry;
- process engineering;
- biotechnology;
- chemistry;
- physics;
- numerical and computational modeling.
The research addresses the complexity of agricultural resources using advanced analytical methods and the design of innovative technological pathways for processing in the fields of agri-food, bio-based materials, biocatalysis, and bioenergy.
