Montpellier Plant Health Institute (PHIM)
Numerous interactions occur between the various micro- and macro-organisms in agroecosystems and plants. These interactions, which determine plant health, growth, and productivity, are often poorly understood.

The PHIM Joint Research Unit (UMR) generates knowledge and solutions to improve plant health and increase plant productivity and quality. PHIM uses approaches from molecular biology and genetics, population genetics and genomics, epidemiology, and population dynamics and modeling to study these interactions at scales ranging from the cellular level to the crop plot.
