Laboratory of Mechanics and Civil Engineering (LMGC)

In its research, the Mechanics and Civil Engineering Laboratory addresses both original topics rooted in fundamental questions and more recent topics arising from interactions with biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, and other fields.
Organized into seven research teams, the LMGC covers a broad spectrum of topics ranging from welding to thermography, including biomechanics, wood, mathematics, granular media, and innovative structures.
These topics combine fundamental research with applied research at the heart of innovation and the key challenges facing industry, healthcare, and the environment.
