Laboratory for Innovation, Communication, and Markets (LICeM)
The LICeM brings together faculty members and researchers who are deeply engaged in the field of innovation, particularly in the area of economic law. The unit, composed of legal scholars, focuses its research on two main areas related to innovation and the law.

The first focus area aims to identify and understand, in light of new market offerings and behaviors, what legal innovations have emerged.
The second research area focuses on analyzing the legal framework governing innovative products derived from digital technologies. The team’s research serves as an important foundation for the courses it offers at the master’s and certificate levels, covering topics such as consumer affairs, distribution and competition, intellectual property and digital rights, and food.
