Laboratory for Innovation, Communication, and the Market (LICeM)
The LICeM brings together faculty members and researchers who are deeply involved in the field of innovation, particularly in the area of economic law. The unit, composed of legal scholars, focuses its research on two areas related to innovation as it pertains to the law.

The first focus area aims to identify and understand, in light of new market offerings and behaviors, what legal innovations have been created.
The second research area focuses on analyzing the legal framework governing innovative products resulting from digital technologies. The team’s research serves as an important foundation for the courses it offers at the master’s and university certificate levels, covering topics such as consumer affairs, distribution and competition, intellectual and digital property, and food.
