Montpellier School of Labor Law (EDSM)

The EDSM’s general research focus is on collective bargaining. Following the fundamental reforms of recent years, the focus is, more specifically, on assessing the social innovation brought about by collective bargaining agreements and conventions.
It also involves, in particular, examining the topic of small businesses, seeking to evaluate the suitability (or unsuitability) of labor law for small businesses. A common thread remains the central issue of (collective) bargaining in very small enterprises.
Alongside this general theme, the unit has taken on a second research topic, focusing on occupational health (quality of life at work, social security, CSR).
