For associations that have already been established but wish to register their address at the university, the process remains the same. You will then simply need to update your registered address with the Prefecture and, if necessary, amend your bylaws. Registering the association in UM’s “single application” system Final step: complete the single application, which formalizes the creation of your association with the University via this link: “Single Application / FSDIE.” Note: A registered association may submit a request for a space, subject to availability. On the Triolet campus, the request must be submitted to the SVE by email. For other UM campuses, please contact your UEI (faculty, school, or institute). Please note: being registered at the University of Montpellier does not automatically entitle you to the allocation of a space; such allocation is subject to availability. For any questions, contact the Campus Life Office. 3. Funding Your Project Apply to the FSDIE: The FSDIE (Fund for the Support of Student Initiatives) provides financial assistance for student projects related to campus life: culture, sports, community service, etc. Would you like to obtain funding for a student organization project? Review the application process. Ready to submit an application? Visit the Home - Association platform. Get support from the SVE: For each project, a meeting with the Student Life Office is mandatory. Contact . 4. Organizing and managing a student organization Tools for managing your organization: Submit a room reservation request (for student organizations elected to the central councils): see the procedure. Complete the required charters and documents, which are essential for organizing compliant social events: Guide to Student Social and Orientation Events (enseignementsup-recherche.gouv.fr). Training sessions are organized by the BVE to introduce associations to the university’s dedicated services and resources and to provide them with all the tools needed for effective management, responsible event organization, and awareness of discrimination prevention.
